The Zuénoula permit covers 395 km2 of highly prospective, structurally disrupted greenstone intruded by granite. Together, the three Central West Gold JV tenements and the Stellar JV tenement provide MetalsGrove with a commanding exploration position along this gold-mineralised belt of volcanic and metasediment greenstone, with the Abujar Gold Mine (3.8 Moz.) to the south.
In addition, there are historical auger and BLEG gold-soil geochemistry anomalies in areas immediately adjacent to and along strike of the MetalsGrove project area (Figure 1).
